The Church’s Mission In The Era Of Global Capitalism: An Exploration On The Mission Model In Jesus’ Ministry

Gereja perlu mempertimbangkan cara bermisi di era kapitalisme global. Dampak negatif dari zaman kapitalisme global saat ini adalah terciptanya kesenjangan ekonomi dan politik. Kerusakan alam secara masif juga mer-upakan dampak dari kapitalisme global. Artikel ini akan menjelaskannya melalui studi literatur. Tulisan ini melihat gereja menghadapi jenis realitas global yang berbeda di setiap zaman, namun gereja dapat bercermin dari pelayanan Yesus. Pelayanan Yesus memperlihatkan kepeduliannya kepada orang yang miskin, terpinggirkan, dan tak berdaya. Yesus bukanlah orang yang tidak peduli terhadap persoalan ekonomi dan politik. Pelayanan yang dikerjakan juga memiliki relevansi pada kehidupan individual dan struktural. Tidak ada perubahan struktural tanpa perubahan individual, demikian juga sebaliknya. Gereja juga perlu membangun jejaring kolektif demi mengusahakan kehidupan yang lebih baik. Kata-kata kunci: misi; kapitalisme global; pelayanan;Yesus.Unduhan
